We’re neighbors making Hudson a better place to grow up!

The Friends of Hudson Youth raises financial support for and community awareness of programs that engage girls and boys in sports, creative expression, and academic enrichment under the auspices of the Hudson Youth Department.

In a place with a large under-resourced population, the city's Hudson Youth Department provides essential services through an after-school program, a summer day camp, sports leagues, and other activities. These address tangible, vital needs—not only for childcare and recreation, but also for academic, emotional, nutritional, and social support. Many of these activities integrate job skills and career training. All are offered free to Hudson-resident young people.

With funding and encouragement from our organization since 2018, the Hudson Youth Department has significantly expanded its capacity to serve the city's youth, and by extension their families and the entire community.
